Gianni Civile is a photographer and artist from Buenos Aires, Argentina, born in 2001.
In 2020, he began his path in photography, training under the mentorship of the renowned Argentine artist and photographer Aldo Sessa. That same year, he completed a specialization in modern and contemporary art and design at MoMA.
During the pandemic in Uruguay, he began experimenting with different photographic styles, capturing the local social environment, its stories, and lifestyle. In the following years, he continued to travel and work across different countries, developing his personal body of work.
Between 2023 and 2025, Gianni moved to New York, where he specialized in the Documentary Practice and Visual Narrative, and Creative Practices programs at the International Center of Photography (ICP). During his time in the city, he also participated in and exhibited his work in various group shows.
He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York
